Welcome

As part of the DIY series, I created the wall installation Welcome. The work is composed of dozens of coconut-fiber doormats sold in IKEA stores around the world, bearing the greetings Welcome, أهلاً وسهلاً, and ברוכים הבאים. The accumulation of mats, each displaying the same greeting in a different language, forms a poetic statement about space, identity, and belonging.
